QuietScan stores document metadata, scanned page images and generated PDF caches in its private app storage. Android backup is disabled. Deleting a PDF removes its known page files and generated exports.

Frequently asked questions
Does QuietScan require an account?
No. QuietScan has no sign-in and no QuietScan cloud document library.
Does QuietScan upload my scans?
QuietScan does not upload scans to a QuietScan server. The document scanner is provided through Google Play services, which may download scanner software components.
Can I use QuietScan offline?
The document library and PDF generation are local. The scanner component may need an initial Google Play services download before first use.
What happens when I delete a PDF?
QuietScan deletes the project folder, stored pages and generated PDF cache files it manages. It does not promise forensic secure erasure from flash storage.
How can I support QuietScan?
Open Settings in the Android app and choose Support QuietScan. The optional one-time purchase is processed by Google Play, requires no QuietScan account and does not restrict the free core scanner.
